choppity chop chop ... man these past 2 daily ranges on the indices have been some of the narrowest i have seen maybe ever ... evidently yesterday was the 2nd smallest daily full range for the spx on a percentage basis for a monday on record what is the next big thing on the markets radar? i guess we are in somewhat of a holding pattern here until thursday? anyone really expecting to see any fireworks from the whole comey testimony? to be honest i'm not holding my breath for anything wildly newsworthy ... but i guess we'll see
I heard Comey can't really say he saw Trump doing anything illegal, because as the FBI Director it would have been his duty to report illegal activities when he saw them and not just after he gets fired lol. Perhaps you think Comey was building up his case until Trump fired him, but they've been looking for a while and nothing has come up so far? The big excitement is that Trump will be live tweeting during the testimony. And people will be live tweeting during Trump's tweeting. There'll be a lot of noise, we'll see if there's any signal hidden in there.
Definitely will be an interesting Thursday, I think we have the Comey testimony, UK election, and the ECB announcement on rates all on the same day
From what I've heard, Trump had the opportunity to block this testimony... and he chose not to If Trump isn't worried, I'm not either
