yea BBRY and NVDA have their hands dipped in that somewhat, both stocks have already been ripping for a while now.
If you pay close attention to Presidential trips to Saudi Arabia you will see that prior to the trip and during the trip oil goes up. Once deals are signed they usually head down after. The same goes on when Royal family members like kings and the prince come in from abroad to visit the President at the White House. So easy money maker to is to buy oil prior to any Presidential trips or meetings with royal members from Saudi Arabia
really nice call on the daily marcy ... looking like we're going for a flat finish for today ... i was way off on today's market call/pick haha
The sterling will be the thing to watch tonight, could have a big swing based on what happens to the U.K. Election
BREAKING: British Pound sharply plunges vs USD after exit poll says Conservatives to hold 314 seats, down from 330 https://mobile.twitter.com/CNBC/status/872922062171590656
Small caps with a nice day today, right at the top now Nice volume today above even the 10 sma, seems to be trending up. We'll see what happens tomorrow with the British elections concluding.
Wonder if any value hunters are shopping in the oil department yet??... Those stocks are gettin prety cheap Looking at DVN trading at 1.23 x revenue... if it falls much more, wont it techically be free??? I know this company well... Besides all the loads ive hauled for them, i use to spend summers on my friends family farm, and the Devon gas plant was their "neighbor" Years later, they sold that land to Devon for a million clean.... Wish i had a neighbor like that!
I think oil will fall more, may even go below $40. Even if it only goes down to $42, that is -8% from where we are now. Stocks can go less than 1.0x sales, for instance CHK and ABC (an extreme example that is not an oil/gas company). I think it might have to do with the profit margin that the company makes.
Yea, it keeps dropping yet we keep drilling.... the important thing is people are going back to work!... nobody seems to be worried around here Its kinda funny, we havnt seen a rig in so long that now a convoy of winch trucks rolling down the highway can turn more heads than the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders! Im not solid on my fundamentals yet, im sure im missing something ... but what i do know, CHK is a train wreck.. and DVN is a juggernaut
British pound extends sharp fall after betting odds show Corbyn favorite to be prime minister http://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/08/british-pound-sterling-after-uk-election-exit-poll.html I guess we will see some wild action if Theresa May loses
wow, these markets are insane. i feel sorry for all the people waiting on a correction or the "big crash" to come, so many strong stocks right now. even the banks are seeing a resurgence. im just going to continue riding this amd and MU wave until they break trend. man look at NVDA, up 50% YTD and 246% over a year. man i remember when this thing was in the 30s, then January 2016 happened and i sold it, i had that and ATVI, man the regrets....feelsbadman.
LOL , well I'm kinda one of those guys. been 75% cash in my retirement acct since May. I really hate missing this move but just can't bring myself to chase this market without a pull back. seems like the markets just care less about all of the turmoils around the globe and here in the states.
vix printed 9.37 this morning ... is that the ATL? my charts don't go back more than 20yrs and the prior low i saw was in december 2006 was 9.39 i want to say that i think we printed high 8s in the early 90s but not 100% sure
