Yep! Minimum $20 purchase is all. I literally walked into QFC, saw that Amazon was cheaper and the line was 20 minutes long, and ordered on my phone instead.

Don't they now have a limited Prime testing of trying clothes? You just order stuff and you have a week to keep what you like and return the rest for no additional charge. My window shopping though :(

It's a beast, that's for sure. The share price is scary but seems unstopable. I buy from them all the time, hard to beat the prices and delivery timeframe. My guess is they only get bigger and better.

Bezos is a genius. He bought whole foods for a reason. I trust Bezos. Do not worry. Also, I will shop at whole foods myself.

I liked shopping there because everything was fresh and local. Now with mass production on the way, I am worried.

Whole Foods sells products to its customers that contain heavy metals, glyphosate, pesticides, herbicides, and GMO's. They are good at creating the illusion of healthy food though. Oh yeah, they fail to support state GMO-labeling laws...I'm not interested in shopping there.

Amazon is definitely not buying WFM for its food.
Because of WFM's target market, its stores are usually opened at a more prestige location than let's say Walmart's.

I think Amazon wants its lease, supply chain, and the distinct value of the brand (trust me, despite all the horrible leaks from its employees, all the supermarkets are more or less the same). Usually, WFM shoppers are living close by the store, as well as willing to spend more money per visit than shoppers in Walmart. That's perfectly what Amazon wants..people that go to the store to pick up their orders online are more likely to pick up something else along the way.

@Wolfy Yes, and I think they are also buying it because WFM has already invested a lot in new omnichannel grocery tech. I can easily see WFM being a production release candidate for AmazonGo....whenever that takes off

Buy Amazon during the dip. Nothing fundamentally wrong with the company, so do not panic and sell your shares. Good for long term

Prime Day 2016 brought its biggest sales day ever, with global orders rising 60% compared to 2015. This year will be even bigger.
