The market sure has been whippy lately. Feels heavy but every down day is followed by a big rip up day.
Yep data storage and gaming as well. I'm just trying to figure out if this rotation is eom/qtr? or does it have legs?
i like amd, already started collecting it on its current downtrend. i really like it at 12.70 ish where its trading at now, if it breaks that to high 11s, i would buy there too. if it breaks that to around 10 and change, i would back the truck up, thats around the 200 day and a long term trend line. i would buy more MU today but they report earnings tonight, i dont usually like to buy right before earnings. X also looking nice, made a base and started an uptrend.
I think we kinda agree on the base break out stuff like X. My screens are pointing to names like HP, UNT, FOSL, HTZ, SLCA, SM and PDCE, they are all beaten up and breaking T/L's with volume. But momentum names like AMD MU are showing signs of distribution to me fwiw.
Wow we are finally seeing some more volatility I guess the ECB talking about tightening is really spooking this market right now I am a bull but I would like to see a bigger correction from here and buy at a lower level
well things have escalated here, wow. spx giving back over a month of gains in one day, sold off straight to the 50 day.
I have left so much $$ on the table in my retirement acct this year with dry powder, please stock gods give me a 10%-20% here so I can out perform again lol
Who knows. I didn't see any real data today. ECB data and healthcare could be blamed for Tuesday. Maybe yesterday was dip buyers and just sellers holding off. When that ran out, the sellers saw their time. Otherwise, something I don't know about.
after the -1300 tick we had at 1:30pm its been slowly grinding back up, at this rate they may buy the market into the close, but you never know, on days like these the last 20 or so minutes of the session could see panic selling.
imo the ma(20) on the 5m is key, late day pulls to the 20 or even the VWAP are sells if they are below....
