$WMT$KSS$JCP$M Cramer is ranting with how terrible earnings for these will be next week. Actually makes me optimistic that they beat est.
Retail giant Wal-Mart ($WMT) could also see early strength after Telsey Advisory Group upgraded its rating on the company’s stock to Outperform from Market Perform.
Walmart Is Going to Kick Amazon's Teeth In, so Don't Be Surprised When It Happens - https://www.thestreet.com/story/142...appens.html?puc=yahoo&cm_ven=YAHOO&yptr=yahoo
There's no chance. We've seen the peak of Walmart, and other companies are taking market share, specifically Amazon. Walmart will never be the one stop shop that EVERYONE uses like it used to be. I'm not saying the stock can't gain a bit with the whole market, but come on, anybody paying attention can't believe it's going to "kick Amazon's teeth in".
^^ Totally agree and no arguments from me! Only thing that might interfere with Amazon/Bezos is Trump but other than that they has been opening warehouses in my area and hiring delivery drivers so no wait time or any need to go to a store.
Word is that the ONE guy assigned to the WMT account is paid $7.00 per hour & works 29 hrs a week to avoid medical insurance.
LT hold sleeping right through earnings.. nothing to worry about go look at the lines every night at the registers.. cash cow
Very strong quarter and good numbers ahead in my opinion. People make the mistake of confusing this as a retail stock - ITS A HYBRID
This thing has got some legs and is always strong through a Bear market. Great long play , can't wait for the upgrades today
This is being held in back to shake out the impatient. Pop and fade it since ER, but this will be a runner in '18. $100+ soon.
I'm in the same camp as youse guys ^^. This used up its cause on the move up to $109 and then only built enough cause for a move down to $89. Sometimes though, declines can get extended (over sold). Waiting for stopping action. On the daily vertical chart major demand came into this market on the gap-up starting at the previous day's close at $89.83. So there's that obvious support too.
