A year and more ago, all you heard was how Chipotle was kicking McD's (_)_) all over the food court. And rightly so, the food is sooo much better. Oh sure, you don't take as many risks with McD's big-science gray-meat-Mc-Double, factory fried, bathed in bleach, irradiated, frozen, and micro-waved upon your order, and then carefully tonged and pulled from that array of post-office boxes (yeah, what the heck is behind those little doors anyway).....and plunked onto a sugar bun to complement the salt laden molded disk of protoplasm ground from a 3-year-old past-her-prime Holstein milk cow...yum, yum. The simple truth is that after being distributed by the big interests, the stock is simply being marked down by the public, who still needs a reason, a why, an excuse, for the continued decline.
Not enough time left before earnings to get any kind of meaningful bounce. Will be completely dependent on Tuesday's ER guidance
Expect ER will be good and that is why Institutions sold it down so they could buy it back. Poor Retail investor WHIPSAW
