Facebook had long warned investors that the revenue growth in 2017 is going to slow, yet the company posted 45% revenue growth in 2Q17 to $9.32Bil. Mobile advertising revenue represented approx. 87% of the advertising revenue during the quarter.

A lot of people I know quit using Facebook. Too intrusive into personal privacy.
    Also, too many pedophiles trolling.

I'm not shorting it, not even trading it. Not worth my time.

Anybody who was short last night is feeling that pain.

This is an impressive move for FB, it is rare to see opening moves of this size!

Yeah we're going to have to face this fact. With 2B users there's going to be pedos in the pool.

Insulated from birth. Went to Harvard, networked with the Winklevosses, started adult life as a billionaire. Don't let someone who's never experienced loss try to lecture you. He'll never know what it's like to have to strain alcohol through pieces of toast.

I grew up with friends who came from wealth. Never had a problem with them except sometimes they just didn't get it when it came to going some where and not having money to spend. I never asked them for money or to pick up my tab....which is why they got along with me I guess.

You are right though: most of them live in a fantasy world to a certain degree.

Your FB content depends entirely on your friendlist, no? What pedophiles are you talking about?

oh wow..what's up with all the unnecessary hate?

I agree that Zuckerberg is a perfect example of living in an Utopia, but isn't that why he is doing that visiting different cities in the country now?

I am not a big fan of Zuckerberg, but I also can see why he is doing what he is doing and saying what he is saying.

In a socieity, you do need someone like that to speak out to give someone living at the bottom a sense of hope.

Imagine every rich is speaking and behaving like Trump, I bet there is already a civil war going on.

Besides, FB's success also relies heavily on its COO Sheryl Sandberg. If Zuckerberg is the one often come up with some fancy idea, Sheryl is the one that can make them work and make money out of it.

Without Sheryl, FB is just merely another twitter or snapchat.

Facebook almost hit 180 a few days ago, this has 175+ written all over it. I’m kind of worried about a gap fill though, but not necessary imho.

Facebook has clearly demonstrated its dominance. current share prices appear to be at a bargain. in 5 years will be 3 times current price. Imo

    Got this channel for FB

Need to see green volume when price gets above that middle line.

Hard to imagine this falling out of the channel, but the lack of volume so far when it's touched has been noticeable.
