Great day for me having T, CMG, and AMD. Couldn't have went much better. Celebrating tonight and thanking the good lord.
sold half of my 7 calls @ .44 for 100% Gain. Holding the other 7 calls for the foreseeable future on the house's money!
I sold my remaining 7 calls @ .59 before close - Might as well take my winnings while they're still there.
I remember this being one of TTT's favorites. Wish I could hear his input right now. 5.51% dividend yield. Down 2.7% with 3x normal volume. Will wait until the volume returns to normal and hopefully find a bottom before I re-buy my position (sold last friday).
Wish we could hear him right now as well, but sadly he passed away (not sure if you saw that). If I had to guess, he'd recommend this to be a very good spot to buy, being at the lower BB and oversold. I know this was one of his bigger holdings and it's a great dividend stock.
I did start a small position in my IRA account for long term hold. I will try and accumulate if this goes down further.
Decided to jump in @33.70 for 350 shares. The dividend is a bonus even if this thing tracks sideways although i'm hoping to see a bounce, it is at a 3 year low.
I've held ATT for over 4 years. I still see the dividend as safe. They have less then 70% payout ratio and cash flow is plenty good enough to sustain it. Main risk IMHO is some interest rate risk considering they are a little debt heavy. So far I've collected over 4k in dividends. Not selling any time soon.
