Mainstream news meant for the public's hearing, yes, true, but I just posted the facts as reported. How anyone chooses to interpret the motives of that television production is up to them. But since you're goading me, I will add my take on their motives: Does their media tip mean that the big boyz are ready to have the public mark it up, or are they looking for suckers to buy their shares? Based on the price and volume action over the past several weeks, I believe they are ready for the public to mark it up.
Hope you're right, I just like giving you a hard time occasionally since I know you're so "anti-talking heads" (which I tend to agree with you on most of it). I'm ready for the ride back up to $15.

Haha that is so awesome! I checked my etrade at like 3:45pm and was down for the day. Just checked it and I'm way up... I was like, "What the heck happened in that last 15 minutes?!" Great news for us.
Quite the last few minutes of the trading day for AMD! Up a ton after hours too since I'm sure a lot of people didn't notice the news right at the end of the day.

I wasn't as fortunate as Leonx as I sold my position this morning expecting a pullback after the run up. Gotta learn to not "time the market."
This is how it looked at the end of after hours trading today. 21M shares traded and up over 6%. I'm on the night shift tonight so won't get to watch the first few hours of the trading day tomorrow since I'll still be sleeping. Hopefully when I wake up, all the gains haven't been given back. I'll be contemplating all night if I want to sell a small portion of my holdings at the open just in case and re-buy it later in the day if there's a dip. On the other hand, I've been invested in this long enough to know that when a big news story with an announcement has hit the public, this has had no problem running up 5%+ multiple days in a row. Hmmmm what to do, what to do.
There are no official news from AMD or Tesla. CNBC and Barrons are the worst/manufactured news sites ever to make you panic buy/sell.
If $AMD is now an AI play, and its being viewed as being Superior to $NVDA, which more than DOUBLED when it became an AI play.... Waiting for big rally to $15
I sold earlier too, couldn't pass up the profits. Hopefully it drops down into the 12's again so I can reload
