@Neil Allen. There are actually some sick ways you can tandom options to your long positions (if you have 100 shares or more) and it can generate cash flow and surprisingly, hedge you bets, instead of adding risk. Ill see if i can dig up one of the videos that impressed me, and post it.
have a local friend that does nothing but options trading & he claims it's much less stressful and you can protect yourself better & i always get a lecture from him whenever i mention any stock so have stopped talking stocks with him.
lol a good candidate for what >> doing or teaching?? AND need you or someone to teach me how to do that @ with your name in a link thing b/c i give up trying to figure it out!!
test #1 @Neil Allen test #2 http://@Neil Allen test # 3 https://stockaholics.net/members/neil-allen.4031/ nope none worked trying what you said here in this box again @Neil Allen
Haha. Teaching. Wow. That is weird. I just do the (at) symbol and your name and it auto fills and links.
@Neil Allen --- testing me - testing myself - testing Neil - works! type in the @name and the profile pic should appear below - click on that and then post.
couldn't make this work for my options scope, but if any swing traders are out there, it may be worth watching to see if support becomes new resistance in the coming days/maybe weeks. if it breaks test and channels up, i would expect it to do well, pre earnings news, in light of the iPhone x hype. but oh my, do i have a bad history with post earnings with apple. so anything i like, take with a grain of salt, pre earnings.....post earning, do opposite of what i want to do or say i want to do.
LOL based on some posts today i would have to say that i'ma not so sure about the trio in here right now & folks just might wanna exit this thread asap!! Neil >> This is why no one should listen to me Me >> everyone should buy when i sell b/c many of my picks go up after i sell B Russ >> do opposite of what i want to do or say i want to do
ok; so remember my post about REV's sinking bond prices, but higher stock prices? Doesn't make any sense that REV has gained 25% in a month without upward movement in the bond prices ($87 - w/10% yield). However, it does make sense if CBO Perelman (who owns approx. 80% of the stock) is buying back all the stock (pretty cheap) to take it private. Then, he can default on the bonds and go to court and settle on the cheap. If this is correct, then buying the stock on a dip and selling $3 - $5 higher should work until he buys it all. He's supporting the stock at approx. $16 - $18 and keeps on buying on every new low. Just a thought.
@Neil Allen (<< really like this new way but am easily amused too lol) Noticed REV may be starting to pull back - down a/h which is what i have been watching/waiting for BUT your perspective has raised a question & i have no clue about going private so what happens to share holders if that becomes a reality? PS - based on my last post outlining the trio in here & if you don't the answer then i might have to wait on someone else to show up that knows b/c already know that B Rus will be telling me something that may be the opposite of what he says
