Hard to tell what is an unbiased review on the internet any more? Any stockaholics members use or familiar with this broker? Their pricing seems logical as the next step up from RH as I progress through my learning stages. Any input, or re-direction appreciated.

Not completely adverse to stepping up to ToS or a similar platform, it would just for the near term, push me out of my comfort level in regards to % of total portfolio/trade in order to not get eaten alive by commissions. Some times it's not always a bad thing to have your feet held to the fire. May make me a little more cautious with my trades.

EDIT= there > their. *literacy, lol.

I have never used Options House but I hear they have a great web based platform and offer some pretty solid alternatives to thinkorswim and other popular brokers.

I would recommend giving them a shot!

I've used them, have an account know, which I use for options (surprise!). They are decent, and brokerage fees wise, very cheap. Unfortunately, customer service can be a pain. I've had issues before where the software was lagging with real time market bid/asks, but that seems to have been fixed.

I have good experience with it, brokerage fee is low and services are quite well.

It appears Option House is gone as it has merged with E-Trade

I was with OptionHouse before they merged with e*Trade.

Now I am currently with e*Trade and get the best of both worlds. I feel like e*Trade is better at order executions at reasonable/better-than-expected prices but OptionHouse has a better platform. After the merger, I log into the e*Trade website but can use the OptionHouse platform to set up trades and analyze my portfolio. Win win for me personally.
