Sneaky looking range this turned out to be Volatility decreasing, sign of accumulation... volume increasing, sign of distribution Volume nodes are almost evenly split in the top and bottom halves of the range And OBV is nearly flat compared to the higher highs and higher lows in price Not sure what to make of this one
Whoa, I thought you were watching this one! Oh well, there's always another trade. This one has legs; it should reach for $73.50.....plenty of meat on this bone....But this had a swing high near $32 in 2014 and an all-time high of $34 back in 1999. Wait for a good pull back I think.
Ive been watching it, but im all tied up... inconvinient timing My two positions are doin alright tho, up 10% on BAC and got back in LCI 5% ago
Down 8% today.... pump n dump for VM?? Funny, one of my "predictions" in another thread... i was just being satirical, but looks like i wasn't far off
Dec 19 - market price reaches a high of 33.28 on abut 1.042M shares traded. All-time high back in 1999 was $34.00. Dec 21st - According to McMahon's Form 4 filing he converted 3.34M shares of Class A to Class B and then sold them in a block trade at $28.68. The market price closed at 31.87 on 693K shares traded. Dec 22nd - Upon the news of the report, the market price plunged to a low of 28.80 and closed at 29.55 on about 2.47M shares traded. Those McMahon shares still need to be peddled to the public....at prices above 28.68. Also, the peddler had to step in to support the stock at 28.80...those purchased shares will also need to be peddled. EDIT: Or...maybe they don't peddle them to the public, maybe they lock them in a box instead. After all, the trading range that the stock price recently broke out of has enough cause to a effect the price to 73.50. Maybe this was a wonderful way to shake the public out of the stock, so they can re-accumulate more for themselves. I'm thinking if they let it go lower from here, they may be accumulating....but of course they are devious b (_(_) tards, so who can know until they show their hand.
Pulled the trigger today, in @ 30.96... which puts my 5% stop just under the close of the big gap day 29.45 Clearly enough demand left to keep pushing higher, while two attempts to push lower have failed...... time will tell if its being propped up artificially, but one things for sure, i wont be kicking myself for missing this pull back
Just think, you probably own a portion of the very shares that Vince McMahon once owned and sold to the boiler room at $28.68. Careful though, your wrestling with the pros on this one. Remember Andy Kaufman's short wrestling career? The all time high is at round number $34.00.
I was a baby in the 80's... but i saw the Jim Carey movie Was looking last night, VM still owns 32m shares... that only leaves a true float of about 7m... which, in a round about way, means the recipient of that 3m share block trade owns half the float How did Wyckoff put it... "At these junctures it seems as though a feathers weight on either side would determine the immeiate trend. Anyone who can spot these points has much to win and little to lose"
think I figured out why my p&f charts were all jacked up.... the time frame was set on "monthly"... I changed it to "daily"... looks better, but I'm getting a different count.......... am I missing something???
You are using the closing prices as the "source". I used the High/Low prices as the "source" which results in more reversals and thus more columns. I used to do it both ways and look back at historic consolidations in the same chart to choose which one was more predictive. I have now settled on the H/L setting as I have found it to be more accurate for most charts. I have not tested this chart, so you may be correct. I will leave it to you to test it. Great observation on your part.
Been waiting a while to post this one! Up 8% this morning, new ATH... and i just doubled my position on the sell off Tuesday
Well that was fun while it lasted This market is going haywire... think it needs some WD40 and duct tape
well, after 3 months, a little dividend, and a 14% gain, I let myself get stopped out of this one.... just not sure about this shakey market, so I took the money and ran
