i never got the chance to chime in here after that game @T0rm3nted but i wanted to congratulate you guys on the W this past sunday! admittedly, i was a little disappointed with my panthers. bears are def. looking better and better lately! back to back losses for us...hopefully we can bounce back this week against the bucs....
Our defense definitely bailed us out @bigbear0083. Our offense is totally anemic, hopefully the offensive coordinator starts opening up the offense a bit and letting Trubisky actually do some learning.
The Bills are a confusing team. Didn't they just trade one of their better linemen away? Why trade for a good receiver after that? Are you trying to win, or tank? Make up your mind Buffalo!
just got tickets to the xmas eve game against the buccaneers! will be going with my nephew/niece and bro-in-law...can't wait! could potentially be a very important game to decide who takes the nfc south i'll try to have a few pics posted in here after the game. go panthers!!
looks like aaron rodgers is returning this week for the pack ... so won't be a cakewalk as i had originally thought. should be a good one.
Football on a Saturday today, including the Bears. We'll see if they can not suck for 2 weeks in a row.
don't think i could have asked for a better xmas gift ... being with my nephew/niece at a panthers game for the first time ever, and having the panthers pull it out in the final 30 seconds of the game and also clinching a playoff spot in the process was really something special. i've been to a handful of panthers games since moving to charlotte about 10 years ago, and i can tell you that this was hands down the most exciting finish to a game i've ever attended! i was also part of some panthers history yesterday. damiere byrd's kickoff return for a TD was the longest (103 yrds) in panthers franchise history! what a day! so glad i could be apart of that. merry xmas everyone!
whelp...'tis the final week of the nfl regular season. panthers still with a shot at taking the nfc south ... but going to need to win today in atlanta and also need some help from the bucs! either way, panthers have already clinched the playoffs.
thx @T0rm3nted, we're definitely gonna need it on sunday. so we've got the saints in new orleans. they've already whipped our butts twice this season. can we finally turn the tide, and when it matters most in the playoffs? admittedly, i'm not feeling too confident about our chances, although i did state as one of my predictions over on the 2018 predictions thread that the panthers would get back to the SB. hope i didn't jinx it.
Whelp, as the NFL playoffs get underway later today do any of y'all have any predictions for the outcome of the games, and/or have a prediction who might make it to the SB? Or at least who you guys would like to see there? Panthers/Saints tomorrow @ 4:30p eastern. Can't wait.
Wild card round: Titans @ Chiefs Bills @ Jaguars Falcons @ Rams Panthers @ Saints Divisional round: Chiefs @ Patriots Jaguars @ Steelers Falcons @ Eagles Saints @ Vikings Conference Championships: Steelers @ Patriots Falcons @ Saints Superbowl: Patriots vs Saints Just a guess though. Ideally I'd like to see the Falcons or Rams come out of the NFC (sorry @bigbear0083), and the Chiefs or Jaguars come out of the AFC. I just think it'll be business as usual though, another Patriots Super Bowl.
Man that Chiefs choke was heartbreaking. Just like the 2013 season wildcard game where they blew a 28 point lead to the Colts. It must be painful to be a Chiefs fan.
Good call @T0rm3nted I'm pretty bummed out right now as you might imagine. Looked like there was a chance for us at the end there, but it just wasn't meant to be. The miss TD catch in the 1st quarter, followed by the the miss FG really killed us. Grats to the Saints. Not sure who I will root for from here on out. Need to get over this loss for now.
Sorry about the loss @bigbear0083, admittedly I don't care for Cam Newton so I was OK with the result. Predicted 3 of the 4 wildcards, just missed on the Chiefs/Titans, although I feel like I should have gotten that one right!
@T0rm3nted Nice predictions Sorry about the loss Cy I can’t really say that I am a Titans fans but since I live in Hawaii, I will be happy to see Marcus Mariota and the Titans to do well
I am a long time Patriot's fan so of course I want them to go all the way again. I fear however that they might have some distractions going on that they do not need during the playoffs. Hope they put that all aside and play.
whelp, now that i had about week to kind of get over that panthers debacle. think i will root for a falcons vs. patriots SB rematch. don't really have much of a rooting interesting here. good luck to your pats @JerryM
