Senate passing tax bill reform sealed the deal some kind of bill will be signed by president this year! Game changer! 80 by close!
Tried to breakout today, but looks like it couldn't continue upwards after the open. Try again tomorrow. Haven't looked up the ER date, but I'd imagine it's around the 19th, that's when the last one was in October.
PayPal shares plunge after eBay splits with payment provider in favor of Adyen PayPal shares dropped 10 percent in after-hours trading. EBay will start working with global payment company Adyen to process its sales. Customers will have the option of using Adyen on its site or going off-site to pay via PayPal. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/31/ebay-in-split-from-paypal-will-start-using-adyen.html
Aww man, they were doing so well! But this is a good thing for Ebay, there are so many horror stories of how this relationship did not work out well for many sellers.
Buyers could say that the laptop they got was broken, or that it was not as advertised. Seller gets hit with a chargeback, loses the sale. Paypal does not bother investigating, they dont have the manpower to check up on 10,000 claims per day.
Looks good up to $96.00 for a trade but that is it. Too much concentration of capital that needs to be worked off.

I know a lot of people that hold all their money on PayPal. This is is a very good platform for making transactions. Nowadays almost everyone has a PayPal account and you can pay almost on every site with it. I am a freelancer and I keep almost all of my money on PayPal. I need to use more than one PayPal account in case if it is blocked. I don't want to lose time making them and verifying every time so this is why I always buy a pack of five accounts on the cvv shop. It is easier because since that last security update it is very hard to verify the accounts.
As someone who has been selling collectibles on eBay since 2008 and has ton a lot of large volume between eBay / Paypal over the years, I can't believe the Paypal story. Most peer to peer direct transactions are paid friends among trusted collectors (i.e. paypal gets no fee) and eBay cut out Paypal entirely with their managed payments system. Paypal did buy Venmo though, and I see that as the preferred electronic payment method among real life friends. I just can't believe how high this one has gotten. There are probably billions of dollars a year in friend transactions where they don't get any fee at all, and they probably lost out on billions in eBay revenue. Just surprising is all.
