It was a rough day for markets around the world. Funny that marketwatch writers are trying to trot out fiscal spending worries to explain this.
I made some really good money already tonight. Complete reversal in the markets. My regret is I could have made so much more if I would have just kept pulling the trigger. I've never had such an easy night trading and just picking up money off the floor. I mean, could the market have crashed down to 1000 /ES? I guess. But then we'd be in the zombie apocalypse and my loses wouldn't matter anyway. The other concern would be if I ran out of buying power as the /ES dropped, but I wasn't even close. Man, if I ever get another night like this, I'm going to be selling puts with both hands.
whelp looks like we got a bit of a reversal off the ONL. still looking at about a -41 handle drop on the cash s&p if it were to open here.
completely forgot to mention this yesterday as well but that vix spike was the largest (at least in % terms) ever in history.
hmm, maybe its because i experienced aug 2015 and jan 2016, but this really hasnt hit me yet in a way to scare me, thats crazy, im numb to sell offs....
vix printed 50s pre-market ... first time since that aug. 2015 selloff. i gotta go back to the 2008-09 charts but kinda thinking we haven't seen a weekly bar quite as large as this one albeit, the week has just gotten underway so this could just be a large upper tail by week's end, kinda like how that week in aug. 2015 ended up being.

Then the senate waits till the very last second to vote and pass a bill ( rally from hell on Monday or late Friday ). Will be interesting to see if the same thing plays out this time around. The worst part about the dip the last few days is that the market was doing so good, that I had all my money tied up, all my stocks took huge hits last few days, and I had/have little capital to buy all these budget deals
i am so pissed right now....fidelity is acting up, none of my orders are getting filled...dammit man.... EDIT: ok, so apparently my orders were filled...all of them...there was a huge time lag...smh i was clicking a bunch of times too, can you say margin? lol
