Posting 2 by this man - like both but second one more. First one was being pushed in my area & heard it a lot today - dancer in video definitely made him look quite good! AND congrats to any that have/can live with someone 24/7 until your 70 which i might be able to do if i wait until age 65
Good stuff here but I'm going to take it back several decades to the voice and 12-string guitar of singer/song writer Shawn Phillips from the 70s. Not pop music and very eclectic for the times. Shawn Phillips produced an exceptional body of work imo. See what you think of this; The Ballad of Casey Deiss:
JJ wrote a lot of stuff made famous by others like "Cocaine", "Call Me the Breeze", "Crazy Mama", "After Midnight", etc. Here is one of my favorites: Downtown L.A.
Heard snippets of one of my all time favorite songs 2x & in two separate places which is not normal for this oldie & has me over on Youtube listening while doing my stock work right now "....Gabriel has said of the song's meaning, "It's about being prepared to lose what you have for what you might get ... It's about letting go...."
getting lost again over here on youtube & shoulda started earlier!! Haven't heard this one in years & Wonder doesn't even need words with this jam! REALLY lost but got my motown/funk fix & not bouncing thread to add this one - good message that we all need to get!! Last one that came on just as i was ready to close down & go to bed - woke me right up lol
I first heard New Slang by the Shins on the movie "Garden State". The song is haunting and fresh, which can be said about the movie as well; they belonged.
Nice - have not heard this one before but have heard something else by this group that i liked & don't remember what it was so will put on Youtube list for another time - burned out after last night lol
"Fairwell Yellow Brick Road" world tour coming to a city near you! this one was one of my favorites by him
