we had a little spring feel around here late this week, but looks like the deep freeze (well for our standards anyway! ) is back on to start next week.
Got some well needed snow and ice, looks like the cold snap will stay a week or so. Started out as rain and quickly became sleet and snow.
First real snow storm of the season for us today. Got about 5 or 6 inches on the ground. Nice thing is it'll all be melted away in a couple days.
Got 8 inches of snow Thursday night into Friday morning, they shut the plant down friday morning so I finally got a day off. Back to work today though.
not sure if this was a record or what but we had temps flirting with the 80s today... looks like we'll get about a 30 degree drop off tomorrow though ... that's more like our avg. temps for this time of the year.
spring is still a few weeks away but it's been up in the 70s all week around here ... we may be done with the 50s this season.
went from 50-60's this past week to a nor'easter today & we just had a big old fire in the snow with down wire right by one of our many trees - scary!!
^^ whoa! hope everything is okay out there! we had some pretty nasty weather down here the past few days, but finally clearing up and lookin' really nice for this upcoming weekend.
^^ we lucked out compared to some others with fires from down lines & i have been talking big time to our trees b/c some have been uprooted & have come crashing down on homes, driving cars etc & heard about a newer building being ripped to shreds by the wind - wild full moon storm!!
eh, not quite. back in the 40s and 50s around here. but, i won't complain too much. i hear the northeast is about to hit with another nor'easter.
getting slammed here with 2nd nor'easter & this some heavy snow too that i am not wanting to shovel Headed to gym only to turn around & come back home. State rd not even plowed & could barely see. Back home within 15-20 minutes & almost didn't get up my hill which wasn't covered when i left. So over winter!!
supposed to chill off here as well....need warm weather so my beer I just bottled will have some C02 in it...
i think i heard that there was another storm brewing again and could turn out to be a 3rd nor'easter headed up your way @fireopal is that true?!
