Fuuuuu. I've been so swamped lately that I completely forgot to bump this thread for our 3 year anniversary last week. Whelp, as they say better late than never. Happy 3 year anniversary Stockaholics!!! A big time thank you goes out to all of our contributors who make this truly the best community forum that I've personally ever been apart of. You guys are the reason this site still exists today. I'm so grateful for the community we have here. Small but very close-knit if I may say so. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being part of this community. You are all like family to me. Happy 3 years on the forums everyone!
Did not feel like starting up a new thread, and wanted to make sure I got this thread bumped in time for our big anniversary here on the forums. Well, I won't be around for the rest of this weekend so thought I'd bump this today. Tomorrow (March 29th) will be marking our 4-year anniversary of the community move from HSM (Hotstockmarket.com) into Stockaholics. I just wanted to quickly take this time out to wish all of our members a very happy 4-year anniversary! Seriously a big time thank you goes out to all of our contributors who make this truly the best community forum that I have ever been apart of personally. You guys are the reason this site still exists today. I really am so grateful for the community we have here. This recent market correction has brought in some new arrivals and even some old timers from waaay back which is really awesome to see. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being part of this community. You are all like a family to me. Happy 4 years anniversary everyone!
JUST wanted to say to all you "OLD TIMERS" on here that started this site 4 years ago......THANKS. I started posting at MSN back in the 1990's. Left there when they dumped all their boards. Posted for years elsewhere till that site got CONSUMED by politics and investing talk dried up to with just a handful of regular investing posters. So glad I found this board...to all that are MODS and others on here.....THANK YOU for all that you do. THIS is the best investing site....by far.....that I have ever posted on.
Right back at ya, and congrats! You've created something special here @bigbear0083 . I know it's a bittersweet love of yours, considering you don't do much trading these days. And Lordy knows we all don't express our appreciation enough, but it *is* much appreciated. Plus I'm sure a hella bunch of lurkers out there appreciate it, too. Good on yer my man. I concur with everyone above me. Like @Stoch I was largely a lurker around here until recently. Mostly hung out in the Discord chat room. I wholeheartedly agree with @Three Eyes, I for one am very impressed what you have created here @bigbear0083. I don’t think that gets said enough times. I’m even more impressed that not only do you run this forum, but also run the discord server for stock market Reddit community, whilst also running that subreddit as well. And on top of all that you still make time to run all of your stock competitions for each of your communities. I really don’t know how you do it man. My hat goes off to you sir, and I’m sure I’m not alone in sharing that sentiment on here. Happy 4 year anniversary to you and here’s to another 4 years! Thanks for running this forum btw.
