Hi! I'm planning to invest into some companies on the stock market with a little money, little by little (10-20 usd / month). I'm familiar about how the stock market works and I read that it is pretty hard to speculate with little money. I plan to invest in long term, so I don't want to speculate. My question is that, does it worth to invest with little money each month, considering the trading fees and the minimum activity on online markets? I mean, if there is a fee for every trade (let's say 5 usd), ofcourse it doesn't worth investing 10, because of the risk. So, are there online brokers that can be used for this kind of investment? If no, I am interested in investing in certain indexes, too, so it might satisfy my needs. I am from the EU, btw. Do you know any exchanges where I can invest with a small amount of money each month in companies (10+ to diversifie) or in indexes (3-4)? Sorry if this question is too "noob" here.
If you use Robinhood, you can invest as little as you want because there are NO trading fees. That would be my suggestion considering how little capital you have to start.
Unless you really want to own a specific company, I would encourage you to buy VOO (S&P500). There would be no need for diversity until you get to the $10K mark, or so. Even then, I would consider it optional. There is nothing wrong with small quantities of money or micro-investing but the time invested in researching companies would be time inefficiently used. You could literally mow lawns for a summer and get a much higher return than picking a stock which doubles in a year. Without the research, buying specific companies is just gambling.
Without a doubt...M1 Finance is what you are looking for. You need fractional shares and an easy way to reinvest into your portfolio.
