GUYS!!! I got good news. It's only money. Got any 22LR ammo? Now that stuff is actually worth SOMETHING.
I got a whole bunch of .223, 5.56, & 9 mil and a slightly used package of toilet paper....I'll trade it all for a beach house...
yea ive been buying the whole way down, its not money im in need of using at all, so i am prepared for pain. bought some BYND today at $60.40
ok, so now that we had a little bit of time to let that all sink in, according to lpl, this was the 3rd largest % drop for the SPX ever on record. but wait, there's more! how about the nazzy? whelp, today's % drop for the naz was actually THE largest ever on record. i'll see if i can post some chart in here for that one as well a little later on for the visuals...
I’m hearing rumblings 48-72 hours until we’re on full national lockdown. Unfortunately sh*t is about to hit the fan.
Amazing, we are seeing some history here. I am surprised not more days are in the list too for 2008-2009
I'm STILL getting emails from Cheapoair & Travelocity claiming to have "cheap" airline tickets...LMAO
Will The Fed Buy Stocks Next? https://www.ino.com/blog/2020/03/will-the-fed-buy-stocks-next/#.Xm_uOy9uihA If buying bonds doesn’t stabilize the market then I wouldn’t be surprised buying stocks would be the next move for the FED although it would require the approval from the Congress
Actual toll is (all country): 331 infected, 1 dead (today), 3 recovered I believe that wednesday we will enter here "state of emergency" frontiers already blocked w/ Spain, no tourists allowed only goods
here is just a real quick visual of all the SPX drawndowns from closing ATHs over the past 20 years. below chart is courtesy of bespoke. (note: we are actually at a -29.7% drawdown currently after today's close) this puts things into perspective a bit. still have a way's to go to match the 2000-02 bear market drawdawn, and the last recent one being the GFC bear market drawdown of -56.8% i'm not saying that's where we're going, but just illustrating on this chart. this one though is the fastest drawdown entering a bear market from an ATH (was only 19 trading days! )
haha, was thinking the same this may be a slightly better visual ... shows all of the SPX 1 day % changes since the 1920s
