To whoever comes across my thread... it is a pleasure haha. My name is Alexus and I am a complete 2nd-day noobie in the world of investing and stocks, so please forgive me if I am unfamiliar with certain terminology, or ask stupid basic questions.. I am taking learning into my own hands and by no means expect to get anywhere big with this at all soon. I am particularly interested in day trading. I have acquired a few books and would love any recommendations anyone has that would be helpful. I am also looking into getting courses. steven duxi seems really genuine and I am really excited to try out his courses. a little bit about me? well for starters I am in school studying wildlife ecology and have a dog whom I love so much named Arthur <3 I have a lot of ranging interests, right now I want to learn how to code ha, hopefully, I am able to juggle that and learning to day trade. I find the concept of developing something on the web or even minimally tech really cool. my father was a programmer and I can remember seeing him for countless hours writing away at his code on his screens. it may also be a piece of nostalgia for me as he has now passed. I love the outdoors, like camping and hiking, road trips are my favorite. I am a bit of a loner but I love people and all you can learn about another's life. I love animals especially and nature. My idols are Jane Goodall and Russell brand haha That's all for now! pleased to be here and hope to build strong bonds with fellow aspiring investors so we can all help each other be successful together!
Welcome, Alexus. That was the best forum origin story I've ever read. A couple of members have posted extensively on specific trading methodologies. As an example, I cite Onepoint272's highly detailed thread on the Wyckoff approach in the Trade Journals forum. I've read quite a few trade journals on this site and find good value in following the thought process of other forum members. Perhaps you will find the same. It's nice to meet you. Please give Arthur an ear scratchy for me.
wow really! that makes my day! thank you for the tip! I will def look into that. I have never used a forum before and honestly, had no idea where to even start. it's like walking the halls of a new school you are attending ha. much appreciation cheers!
