The topic of getting current stock market news comes up a lot in the chat rooms. I've posted there before that I do have my Twitter configured to follow a lot of the websites that carry news and let my windows 10 Twitter app run and scroll the feeds. But, I also came across a streaming news app for Windows 10 that is quite nice. The information to download and configure is below. At the download site you can also click on "User Guide" on the menu. I've also linked you to a few RSS pages where you can customize this ticker to your liking. I removed the 2 BBC feeds that came with the download and put my watch list symbols into the Yahoo feed. Then I added a few other feeds from below (Market Watch, Reuters and Benzinga). Under the Tools / Options on the Text and color tab I increased the font to 12 and set the color red for news within the last 60 minutes and yellow within the last 120 minutes. I set refresh time to 5 minutes and docked the bar to the top of my screen. Increased scroll speed to 5. I like this one a lot. Let me know if you try this and need any help or tell me how you like or don't like.
I've tinkered with similar configurations myself. I remember setting up my own customized news ticker on Windows 10, tailoring it to my preferences just like you did. It's a game-changer for keeping up with market movements. By the way, if you're into optimizing your Windows experience, you might want to check out Windows 11 Pro. I recently upgraded from https://digitalchillmart.com/product/windows-11-pro-32-64-bit/ and it's been great!
