This is the ultimate....SELF-LOATHING....market. The PERDITION MARKET. The constant negative story-lines being pushed in the media over the past 2-3 weeks are now in the drivers seat and have pushed us into a CORRECTION. In the meantime....ALL the big tech companies and most other big cap monster companies continue to rake in the MONEY and THRIVE.

I guess I made a good move taking profits on a chunk of my NVDA. Perhaps....short term. Once again....just like magic....every time NVDA reports earnings we are in the middle of some big manufactured market CRISIS. Once again we are going to see A GREAT BIG EARNINGS BEAT.......overwhelmed by short term events......and IGNORED. It is amazing how this constantly happens with this stock and their earnings reports. As usual.....I WARN....when markets disrespect and constantly ignore great fundamental data....earnings.....the markets will cease to exist. We will have completed the switch over to simply.....GAMBLING. They....the people making money....will push it as and call it....TRADING....but is will be nothing more than GAMBLING.

My words for the day.....and the recent past in the markets....COURAGE....ENDURE.....NO-FEAR. Although I might not be bargain hunting today going into a weekend. If I was going to buy this little dip I would probably do so on Monday.....people are going to be skittish about holding into the weekend. By "people"....I mean TRADERS. Of course this would be market timing. SO...... If i did have some money to invest.....I would be loading up the wagon at these prices. Does that mean we are at a bottom.....I have no idea and no one else does either. BUT....If I could get into the BIG CAP TECH companies at the current levels...I would be willing to do so and eat any further losses short term. If I had a big enough pot of money I would just...buy my way down on the big cap tech shares....for as long as this little correction lasts. BUT for me.....NO MON.....NO FUN. AND please.....THIS IS NOT INVESTING ADVICE TO ANYONE ELSE.

I agree with some of the above on a bit of the recent volatility. If this little dip or whatever is creating angst or making one a bit uneasy, then they likely are way over estimating their risk tolerance or maybe too concentrated plan wise. Might want to take note of it as mentioned. If this little blip bothers you, then you are really gonna freak out if/when we get something significant. I'm not even sure if the current deal even qualifies as a good discount at this point. Sure enough, some have been hit a bit harder than others, but it's certainly not a fire sale going on.

WELL....I ended with a GAIN today. So Monday and Friday were it for me this week....in between....a disgusting waste of time for the markets. I had a nice small....medium gain today. thanks to my three GREEN stocks....MSFT, NVDA, and PLTR. I also beat the SP500 today by....0.58%
For the week......my entire portfolio is now at a year to date gain of......+21.15%. A big change from where I was last Friday for my entire portfolio year to date.....+27.33%. In the last couple of weeks my YTD gain has gone from around +31% to now +21.15%. In a couple of weeks I have lost about 1/3 of my recent YTD gain. Just how it works short term.
