With THANKSGIVING tomorrow....some good "mental" food for thought to go along with the real food tomorrow.

Six (Or Seven) Reasons to Be Thankful as Investors

    https://www.carsongroup.com/insights/blog/six-or-seven-reasons-to-be-thankful-as-investors/

    1) It’s Been a Great Year for Various Asset Classes

    2) Stocks Rarely Peak in October

    3) The Economy Is Improving

    4) The US Isn’t Top Heavy

    5) Earnings Drive Long-Term Stock Gains

    6) The Consumer Is Doing Ok

    7) Bad Years Are Rare Without a Recession

AND....I will add.....the holiday retail season will be JUST FINE. EVERY year we hear how the retail Holiday shopping is not going to be up to par.....and every year or at worst MOST years.....this media BS is simply WRONG. I see the same thing happening this year......the shopping season this year for RETAIL companies will be just fine.

    AMEN.

Unnecessary Stock Market Predictions for 2026

    https://www.priceactionlab.com/Blog/2025/11/stock-market-predictions-2026/

"I label any predictions of the stock market’s performance for next year as “unnecessary” due to the high likelihood of a rising market and the frequent absence of confidence intervals.".......

    AND

    "Conclusion

We know that the stock market has a tendency to rise in any year given its historical performance, but we should not try to make predictions about returns because, due to the low sample, they are mostly noise."

YES....as the article notes.....going back 79 years, the S&P 500 index has gained 73.4% of the time.....58 years, with a 9.3% mean return.

A thinly disguised market HIT-PIECE....aimed at NVDA but indirectly at the entire market.

Nvidia says it isn't using 'circular financing' schemes. 2 famous short sellers disagree.

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/nvid...-famous-short-sellers-disagree-100021210.html

FAMOUS yes....but successful investors....NOT in my world. Simply the typical one-hit-wonder.

HERE is one of them......this little article gives you a good clue how this person has done with his investing as a so called "expert". HINT...if he was doing well why would he close his fund.....same with his buddy....BURRY....who also just closed his fund and is now pushing a newsletter. What a JOKE.

Our...."FRIENDS"....in China....continue to do everything then can to harm NVDA. they know that this company is something special and that they can not keep up. So they spread their POISON....with their market and company harming behavior. Unfortunately for them....no one seems to care.

Chinese regulators block ByteDance from using Nvidia chips, The Information reports

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/chinese-regulators-block-bytedance-using-132621783.html

We are complete FOOLS....to allow ANY of their companies on our exchanges. BUT.....unfortunately....we are way beyond being able to do anything about it.

Another article that I can not see....but this headline says it all. If anyone on here was alive and had financial awareness of the ENRON situation.....there is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON. On one had we had outright financial CRIMINAL FRAUD....that was ENRON. TOTALLY DIFFERENT from anything NVDA is doing........and....trying to make this comparison is....DELUSIONAL.

Nvidia Says It’s Not Enron in Private Memo Refuting Accounting Questions

    https://finance.yahoo.com/m/d2a33cd8-9c00-3e56-89b6-0b40b0b38c0d/nvidia-says-it’s-not-enron-in.html

i refer you to our two.....one-hit-wonder....short sellers above.

I was wondering when all of the "predictions" articles for 2026 would start showing up. They seem to always contradict themselves. There will be so many revisions to this throughout 2026. Such a waste of time/energy for most investors.

Although, the media and institutions play in this field all of the time for reasons we are all aware of.

The point is to have a plan that works for you in most cases. What the market ends up being is nothing we can control and quite honestly no one knows.

TOTAL MISINFORMATION. Is it any wonder that many think the economy is so bad. Thanksgiving dinner is lower this year by 5%.....and well below the record cost in 2022. In my state.....as I posted before I can buy a premium Butterball turkey for 84CENTS to 95Cents a pound.....NOT....the $1.71 a pound mentioned in this article. I smell a POLITICAL plant here.

As Trump pardoned turkeys, Americans faced the highest holiday turkey prices in years

A very personal family decision....but in our family we have always been very open about money, finances, and investing with our kids.....on an age appropriate level.

I was raised the same way. My kids know very well the value of everything in our house and all of our investments....as well as what they will inherit.

Most retirees don’t tell adult children about their inheritance, research shows. What advisors recommend sharing, when

    https://www.cnbc.com/2025/11/25/how-to-talk-to-your-adult-children-about-their-inheritance.html

Of course our family is very different.....with the older generation financing the mortgages on the younger generations homes....making sure they get educated with no debt...passing on financial and investing knowledge.........and the whole extended family operating like a very MICRO-FAMILY OFFICE.

Interesting. I don't doubt that we will see some of this as things move along.

I don't know yet where I stand on the whole AI revolution. I wonder at times how impactful it will be in the end. I'm not saying that it will not be to some degree, but they are certainly promising a lot of stuff.

They have a fantastic selling product. Create a product that many do not understand and convince them they have to have it. Then lay out all sorts of promising aspects that may/may not come to fruition. Factor in a whole lot of hype and you can fill the coffers.

Right now, I think I am somewhere between....some of this could be useful and they are selling it too hard.

I get a view of the impact of AI and outsourcing from watching my son's company.....a major insurance company where he is a Senior Director of National Underwriting. They installed AI company-wide over the past couple of years....especially over the last year........and it is very interesting to watch the impact. YES....it is real and it will sweep across the entire economy. His job is not at risk....but AI is definitely impacting employment and employees at the lower levels in Underwriting.

At the same time his company is MASSIVELY expanding through acquisitions.

It is also interesting to see how AI is allowing his company to outsource jobs to India.

Having been raised in the SOUTH....I remember some of these very fondly.

6 classic Thanksgiving side dishes that have disappeared from American tables
From oyster stuffing to turnip mash, traditional holiday sides tell story of how America used to celebrate

    https://www.foxnews.com/food-drink/...-side-dishes-have-disappeared-american-tables

    The ones that I remember:

    AMBROSIA
    GIBLET GRAVY...which we still do.
    CRANBERRY FLUFF

I have never heard of CORN PUDDING....but I need to check it out......sounds interesting.
