Ok...good enough for a Monday. I had a medium size....small gain today. On the backs of three stocks....AAPL, NVDA and AMZN. I also beat the SP500 today by....0.88%. Moving on to Tuesday with some money in the bank for the week.

I will miss the open today.....I have a blood draw. BUt....I do like the little lesson here. EXACTLY....what I try to do with my big cap stocks. BOTTOM LINE....you have to be in the markets to get these gains and the average gain is just that.....AN AVERAGE. In REALITY the gains and losses in any single year are way more extreme than the average.

I do believe that we are seeing a very nervous public out there right now. They are constantly BOMBARDED by media negativity. This in turn creates a crisis in confidence. Well not really. As it typical in this sort of polling....people will spout back the media line when asked how people are feeling about the economy. BUT....ask them about how "they" are actually doing.....and the MAJORITY....will say they are doing well. I would call this....POLLING EMPATHY.
As for me....I am doing just fine....seven of seven stocks GREEN today. AND...I live in the world of......REALITY.....at times a very lonely place. Now lets hang on for the next 45 minutes till market close.
if we can keep the current...."feel"....going in the markets for the entire week....we will break the back of the correction. We will have a shot at a....SANTA RALLY....and new market highs. I now see that the odds of a December rate cut is a....PROBABILITY. I dont think a year end rally is there yet....but it is right on the edge. As usual the markets can turn on a dime. TODAY.....I had a mild....big gain.....or a strong....medium gain. Whatever you wish to call it. ALL my stocks were GREEN and I beat the SP500 by 0.60% today. ONWARD AND UPWARD.

I got my blood results and all is good. I have CKD....Chronic Kidney Disease. I have been stable since 2010....a long time....and as a result am nowhere near dialysis. I have about 42% kidney function. For the rest of my life I will do a blood draw every quarter. I am sure this "disease" is a function of my touring life. It is a very hard life and no matter how much you try to avoid it..... it subjects you to much danger of dehydration and high blood pressure. Primary causes of Kidney damage. I quit touring full time in 2010....the really hard-core touring....as a result. Of course since that time I have played hundreds and hundreds of shows and continue to play. At age 76 and HEALTHY....I consider myself a musical survivor. Most of the people that I played with over the years are either DEAD or no longer able to play. I still consider myself to have....no limits. I will be going to Houston next week and in February to play with a couple of long term musical friends....one of whom just recovered from BREAST CANCER and the other is in recovery from a stroke. We are the....SURVIVORS.
