The week to come.....of course the big question.....will any of this even matter.....especially earnings.

January jobs data, Alphabet and Amazon earnings, more Warsh fallout

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/janu...allout-what-to-watch-this-week-124723942.html

The GUTS of the week.....earnings from PLTR, AMD, AMZN, and GOOGL. We will basically be done with BIG TECH earnings....except for NVDA....after next week. And I predict that once again we will end up as investors with.....little to nothing to show for some really nice earnings.

Secondary earnings next week....Walt Disney (DIS), PepsiCo (PEP), Eli Lilly (LLY), Novo Nordisk (NVO), Toyota (TM), and Philip Morris (PM).

AND....of course the Jobs Report.....which no one outside the media will really care much about.

As to potential FED chair Warsh....who cares....simply another Wall Street and Washington DC insider/elite. The more things change the more they stay the same.....at least for us little people.

Just read on Motley Fool while ago. Impressive.

Home Depot is up 1,100,000% since 1981.
    23% per year.
    For 45 years.
    And that doesn’t include dividends.

This story line is a total HIT-JOB. It is DENIED by NVDA and like this little article cobbles together information from up to a year ago to make a very vague and unsupported argument. This is a perfect example of how the current media environment is POISON for investors. Yet another day today when NVDA is hampered by a ridiculous article and driven down in early trading.

ACTUALLY.....not long ago NVDA was being severely criticized for circular financing over this same issue and now they are being dragged through the media mud......over Not doing the OpenAI investment. JUST BS.....it is amazing how the constant rumors and BS involving NVDA hurts the stock.

Nvidia shares are down after a report that its OpenAI investment stalled. Here’s what’s happening

Vaguely related to the above....I find it amazing that in spite of all the media BS......and drama over the AI build out....companies are all STILL rushing to build out there AI capability and pouring money into it.

Oracle rises after company announces $50 billion fundraising plans. Here’s what’s happening

    https://www.cnbc.com/2026/02/02/oracle-stock-price-funding-plans.html

It is RIDICULOUS how all the big tech companies are criticized, second guessed and punished for making huge capital investment in AI capability. They are doing exactly what they need to do. These companies have huge piles of free cash and this is the perfect way to put that cash to work. I would much rather have then try to grow their business compared to doing share buy-backs.

The current media environment of MORONS in the media second guessing management on CAP Ex spending and other internal decisions is ASININE. It is mostly click-bait and made up drama. BUT....it does impact the companies involved in how the public reacts to earnings and their stock price.......in a very NEGATIVE way.

I see that most of my stocks are now GREEN. The two that are not......two of the most DISRESPECTED companies in the world....NVDA and MSFT.

We are actually having a nice little day today in the markets. it would be nice if NVDA and MSFT would join in. Perhaps later in the day.

Of course.....THIS....is the big earnings to come tonight:

Palantir expected to see 'very strong' Q4 earnings report following stock sell-off

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/pala...eport-following-stock-sell-off-160215201.html

I have no reason to doubt this.......but.....I will count my chickens AFTER they hatch.
