Totally agree unfortunately, my fellow gloom and doomer It's going to have to be a social revolution. A collective inward introspection about what one wants out of their life. Virtual vs. reality. Only time will tell, but damn if people are not total sheep when it comes to trends, marketing, and dopamine hits.
The PAIN continues.....and...probably will for a while. I had a small....medium loss in my stocks today. BUT...three were GREEN.....COST, MSFT, and AMZN. I also lost out to the SP500 today in my stocks by....0.32%.

You can be....just believe in the forces of good to triumph over the grifters and shysters peddling their short term noise. In times of uncertainty and turmoil, the headlines that everything is broken beyond repair are an easy sell based on emotion. Your point is not lost on me though. I sometimes wonder too.
Copenhagen Atomics is extremely far along with a thorium nuclear power design. It's a breeder reactor that promises high efficiency. It's going to be extremely difficult for them to obtain a license to test their reactor but it should be made easier by successful tests of the same reaction chain in China. They'll probably have to relocate somewhere, as I doubt Finland will allow them to proceed on any remotely viable timeline. This is the most exciting power production technology ever created. I won't drone on about specs and details but they promise world beating cost, efficiency, and safety. Certainly, this will be excellent news for our future AI overlords.
A bit of a broad market "rally" taking shape today it appears. Time will tell if this one takes hold for a few days or we just blow with the wind and remain headline driven. Nice to see some green for a change.
YES.....a nice rally today. I missed the whole day so far for a medical appointment for my wife....just a followup. I have talked a lot about a market disconnect....looks like others are also seeing it. MY COMMENT This appears to have been happening for at least 4 quarters and perhaps even for 8 or more quarters. As I have said many times....I FEAR this spreading to more and more companies and longer market time spans. I strongly BLAME.....the constant negative, sensationalistic and INSANE media coverage that is constant and unrelenting....beating down individual stocks and the markets.

Oh, I would not bet on that. There are plans to reshape that region, and not for the better. We all know what happens when we play the neocon card. I just do not know why this topic is hurting chip stocks, unless they are taking the price of oil and transport slant. Other than that, not sure what this has to do with AI. Not like Iran is a customer lately.
I had one of the largest gains in a long time today. ALL my stocks were STRONGLY green....except COST. In addition I beat the SP500 today by......1.20%.....on a day when the SP500 was up BIG. Unfortunately a totally news driven day today.....so.....this could be a short term big gain. OR...if we are lucky....in hindsight.....perhaps we will have just seen the market bottom and a big bounce off that bottom today.....as we start to move back up.

If I was a speculator or a market timer.....I would probably buy BIG......today..... in tech and other beaten down BIG CAP DOMINANT companies. My thesis: 1. Trump will be doing a speech on Iran tonight. 2. We just sent the BIG B-52 bombers to bomb in Iran. 3. It is likely we are using those heavy bombers to drop the 2000 pound bunker buster bombs. I extrapolate from the above that we have now decided to simply bury the uranium in Iran and will not be sending in live troops. I see this event as a signal that we are sealing things up and I would say there is a PROBABILITY that Trump will announce the end of our current activity in Iran......or...the start of a pull back. Of course I am NOT a speculator....so I will not do anything.
