WELL....the SP500 and the DOW are now green.......and the red NASDAQ has improved. Another day in the markets based on......NOTHING.
OK....ALL the big averages are now GREEN. People that bought SPCX have now survived the first big DIP in the stock. It seems to have stabilized in the mid $150's range....for now. Us shareholders are in for a long wild ride.....with many highs and lows to come over the years. MU is being PUNISHED for their success today. EVERYONE....must be punished. Just ask NVDA.
Speaking of NVDA. PE = 29.98 FORWARD PE = 21.72 SP500 FORWARD PE = 22.05 The IDIOCY of the current market.....WTF.
Well this week is cooked. I guess we will try again next week. On the plus side I think NVDA payed out their dividend today. Have a great weekend. Better luck on Monday.
YEAH....lets hope so. Today a small loss for me with...SPCX, NVDA, GOOGL, and MU all RED. I also lost out to the SP500 today by.....0.28%. A wasted week.......over NOTHING.....as usual.
AND....now my year to date for my entire portfolio has sunk back to just SLIGHTLY green........+0.04%. One slightly bad day and I will be in the RED for the year. I was thinking the other day....it seems like it has been a long time since I have had a NEGATIVE year. OR....even a year with a gain below +10%. I have been SPOILED by all the good years recently. This might be the year that some of us....end up in the RED. It has to happen sooner or later. If nothing changes and the markets continue to DISRESPECT success....this could be the year.
"AI UNREST"....you have got to be kidding. What a load of BS....to have this garbage impacting the markets and the greatest companies in the world. Personally.....I am happy that all the big tech companies are spending big on AI. That is the FUTURE....and....exactly what they should be spending on. To continue the above.....YES....business is GREAT. Do you think the AI PROGRAM TRADERS will trade this headline or news? Somehow I dont think so. Underlying business conditions and business fundamentals are AMAZING right now....in spite of the markets and MEDIA negativity. BUT....we all know that DRAMA and NEGATIVITY and breathless speciation sell.....they generate clicks. And that is ALL anyone cares about anymore in the BS world of media. My latest gas purchase......$3.08 per gallon. AND....I believe that price is NOT justified right now. It should be down at about $2.60 to about $2.80.....here in Texas.

It's probably obvious but I do massive amounts of reading and spend quite a bit of time thinking about industries, companies, and markets. This is my idea incubator, although 99.9% of the time I invest in trying to be current does not bear fruit. Every once in a while, I get a good idea. Among the ideas which seem good, I do not action them all. Either I don't like the company for some reason, the valuation is too high, or I put in a limit order that is never filled. I probably buy one company for every five good ideas I have. Where do you all get your ideas from? What is your incubation process?
