OctoBot . is an Open source trading bot + group strategies. Grid, DCA, AI. Self-hosted, paper trade first. It’s a beauty. Not financial advice, eh. /octobotgroup/
i have been using Octo for a while now, and honestly, it's been pretty solid so far. When I first started, I stuck to the group strategies and tested them out carefully instead of just throwing a bunch of money in right away. And yeah, the results actually surprised me. Last month alone, those strategies pulled in roughly $7800 based on my account size and how I had everything set up. But heyy, I'm not saying that's guaranteed or that everyone should expect the same thing. trading performance can flip pretty quickly depending on market conditions, fees, your risk settings, and how much capital you're working with. The biggest thing i have learned? The bot isn't some magic money printer. You actually need to understand what the strategy is doing. Grid and DCA strategies can work really well in certain market conditions, but they can also keep buying during a strong drop or end up holding a massive position if the market turns against you. I'd definitely recommend paper trading first and starting small. Last month was great for me, but I'm fully aware that one good month doesn't mean the next one's gonna be the same. I’d honestly call it luck.
