I'm coming up on profit taking area pretty soon, probably around $12.2x. Probably close about 1/3rd of my position. My position is 3x larger than it would have been though thanks to the big drop that we had a week or two ago where I added on the dips.
Up about 50% on my Feb 17 $12 calls (about 100% for the day) and 30% on my April 21 $12 calls (about 50% for the day).
Something tell me after hours its still going to go up..... but a little over 12 is good for the day...
I wanted to congratulate all the longs that held through the ER and those that bought calls. A special congrats for those that followed me from the mid-two's. You guys had the conviction to see through the short attacks when it looked like AMD was falling off a cliff. Like Leon I sold my FEB 3 $11 calls for a 200% profit and still hold some $12's and my long position. Job well done!
AMD stock is surging on Q4 earnings, but expect gains to extend to the $13 level amid greater GPU adoption and rising margins.
After 27 minutes from the open appears like price can't get moving....can't test the high....are the sellers starting to overcome the lack of demand?
