I like their Craftsman stuff. Has a lifetime warranty, such that you can take back your old Craftsman stuff and get a new one. I went into a Sears last year to get a newer water hose. Also checked out the electric hedgers in person; bought it on Amazon of course. A few years ago, I was finding Craftsman tools at yard sales, getting them dirt cheap as expected and exchanging them at Sears for brand new ones. No questions asked. Sold enough new tools without really trying to buy a new TV.

So I love Craftsman. And for that reason, I'm afraid of Sears selling Craftsman--will lifetime warranties still be honored? Who would want to acquire the Craftsman brand knowing they'd have to put up with such exchanges from lifetime customers that are already in?

More importantly for me, I'm hearing that a Sears spokesman confirmed the unlimited lifetime warranty on Craftsman hand tools made in the U.S.—“a hallmark of the brand for generations”—will be kept in place.

Yep I have done the same thing through years picking up Craftsman tools at garage sales. I once got this big screwdriver that looked like it had went through a thrashing machine and no problem getting new replacement.

Department store operator Sears (SHLD) reported a narrower than expected fourth quarter loss on revenues that came in above analyst estimates.

$SHLD I guess it's not a good "value" if a stock is going bankrupt to zero. People will learn once we see those bankruptcy filings.

I guess we're the reason they're going out. LOL. I haven't been in a sears store in years. Kinda like western auto, dust in the wind.

Department store operator Sears Holdings ($SHLD) is moving sharply lower in pre-market trading after its annual report said historical operating results indicate substantial doubt exists related to the company's ability to continue as a going concern.

Sears is a great store to walk thru on your way to the better part of the mall.

Doubled off its low of $5.50

Just this week from the $8s to $12.
I've got a May put option bid out there @11.5, but I'm low balling.
