I currently use 3 different programs for stock prices. Freestockcharts.com, stockmaster (iphone app) and real time stocks (iphone app).

Sometime I see up to a $.05 difference in price between the programs.

Is that normal when you use the free services?
Are the paid services more accurate?

Some of them are delayed, and some are live as well. That could be part of the price difference you're seeing.

Yea it probably is the delay. I thought i was getting bad data from the phone apps.
I'll probably upgrade to one of the paid sites after get a better feel for the markets. I'm still just a trading noob for now.

    Thanks for the feedback.

If you are going to be trading, open up a brokerage account. Their software will provide you with real time quotes and depending on who you go with the software will probably have better charting then most of the free sites. You can open an account with TD Ameritrade without having to fund it and download Think or Swim trading platform. One of the best around.
