    Marijuana
Cannabis, also known as marijuana among several other names,a[›] is a preparation of the Cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug or medicine. The main psychoactive part of cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC); one of 483 known compounds in the plant, including at least 65 other cannabinoids.Cannabis can be used by smoking, vaporization, within food, or as an extract.

    Top Marijuana Stocks 2017
    AbbVie Inc. (NYSE: ABBV)
Aurora Cannabis Inc. (ACB.CN) (OTC: ACBFF)
    Cara Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: CARA)
    INSYS Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: INSY)
    MassRoots Inc (OTCMKTS: MSRT)

Shares of Cannabis Science (CBIS) have soared more than 870% since the start of October. Meanwhile, Canopy Growth's (TWMJF) increased more than 300% during the same period, transforming the company into a more than $900 million enterprise.

However, there have also been some disappointments. Arena Pharmaceutical's (ARNA) share price is down more than 25% since October began.A large number of marijuana stocks are penny stocks that are too risky to be considered as much more than a gamble. Just a handful of companies trade on the major stock exchanges, which is important when evaluating these stocks, because liquidity is much lower on the over-the-counter exchanges.marijuana has only been legalized at the state level, the entire industry is susceptible to a downturn. Federal law still classifies cannabis as a Schedule 1 narcotic. President Obama chose not to enforce those laws to full effect. However, the newest occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue might choose to reverse that decision. This would pose a massive risk to the industry.

Right now our government can't even accomplish constructive goals... Trumps honey do list is backing up farther and farther with every day that passes

i have absolute confidence that re-enforcement of ignorant prohibition laws will not find a way onto the agenda under this administration

Durring the campaign trail, I heard Mike Pence speak a few times about the states right to individual legislation.. He didn't actually use the word marijuana , but it definitely fits into that conversation!

And this Jeff Sessions character?... I don't know much about him, and I'm sure I don't want to... But I'd be willing to bet he's in bed with big pharma... Because nobody with a molecule of common sense could buy the regurgitated verbage that comes out of his mouth when he opens it on this subject!... Not even himself... So his verbal vomit must be spewed to push some agenda

I've been watching CARA for a while.. I think it's building cause for a good run!... But it's not quite ripe yet

Canopy Growth Corporation (TWMJF), MedReleaf (MEDFF), and GW Pharmaceuticals (GWPH) especially appear to have solid potential for gains. Here's why these are three top marijuana stocks to buy this fall.

Great insight. I invested heavily in ACB and TWMJF during the hay days of weed stocks. Unfortunately, now it's not as good no more as the black market in Canada is taking over all the LP's market share. They can simply not compete with the black market quality. There have been many reports that LP's sell dry old weed making users flock to the black market. Quality, customer service, and fast delivery is what you get from online dispenseries like www.topshelfbc.com gives you no reason for anybody to be buying from the LP's. Stock prices are bearish and will continue to be bearish until Canada fixes its laws.
