Hey all, this is just an update from the Robinhood account. This is not my retirement account just an account I am using to learn about the market and play around with various investments. Suggestions are more than welcomed! If you have any ideas, strategies, etc. I would love to hear them and if you'd like me to make a video on it - I am open to suggestions. The account ended up +10% on the month, some of that was capitalizing on the dip in December, a swing trade on a Biotech stock, and some blue chip stocks. But check out the video below if you are interested: Enjoy!
Thanks! I will be doing another update soon. If you have any stocks or topics you'd like to see discussed, just let me know!
Cool video. How do you decide when you want to buy a stock exactly? Also have you thought about creating a diary in the journaling section of the forums?
I didn't realize there was a journaling section, I'll check it out. Regarding buys, I usually try to identify a few different stocks of interest and buy if they drop any reasonably significant amount. I'll usually make several buys to average the cost.
Cool. Digging the DFEN play btw. Was looking at a similar ETF (ITA) which directed me towards some individual stock in the same sector
I really like DFEN, it is a leveraged ETF that tracks the aerospace and defense sector. Boeing is one of its major components. I think that sector is set for growth over the next couple of years. So I think DFEN will perform well. I'd like to know your thoughts if you look into it!
