New buys that triggered today 6/5: ENPH, RUN, CLFD, VIR ENPH is a long awaited solar play, which has had excellent run-ups in the past. However, the fact that the stock price spent 2023 and 2024 YTD under the 200D moving average prevented any buys by the model. Prior to that, from May 2021 and 2022, the long-term horizontal pattern (not breaking former highs) prevented ownership. This stock was a favorite of mine in the last decade and now is finally showing a great long-term buy cycle. Run is a newer solar stock, which also featured a new buy cycle. CLFD is in the communication equipment space, which is expected to grow with emergence of AI and in the longer term possibly autonomous cars. VIR develops therapeutic products to treat various diseases. From a technical analysis perspective, the model signaled a buy for this stock.
