I remember these guys partnering to sell Apple products/electronics. In light of Apple revenue declining 10% y/y, and Amazon still eating the rest of these guys' lunch, I'm thinking BBY saw a decline too. But this thing is up today.
Taking out $33! Looks good! Surprisingly... I love this store and feel terrible for looking at their electronics, but never buying anything.
I buy things there occasionally but I usually check Newegg/Amazon/etc. for better prices and make them match it. Last few times their prices have already been best or equal though.
Ah yes, they do price match if you can show them the same item on sale elsewhere, which sucks too because they are taking a huge hit on profits! But I guess its a way of getting people into the store.
Beat the top line but missed on the bottom line and guidance Best Buy shares slip 5 percent as revenue, outlook fall short Source: http://www.cnbc.com/2017/03/01/best-buy-earnings-q4-2017.html
Consumer electronics retailer Best Buy (BBY) may move to the downside after reporting better than expected fourth quarter earnings but providing disappointing guidance for the current quarter.
