   I am looking for a online stock trading platform that is informative,less restrictions, and costs less/trade. Which one is currently best?

   For barebones, most basic and free, there is robinhood.io which at the moment is only on your phone.
   
   For something above that, thinkorswim.com is pretty much the most popular broker at the moment.

   I feel like Scottrade is simple and efficient to use. I'm currently using Ameritrade because of my round trip violation right now. I like Scottrade a lot better.
