I've started by using Robinhood for the last month and bought and sold a few stocks learning a little bit.
I've chosen some that seem interesting and added them to my watch list so. What I'm curious about is what are some of the best sources of news and quickest ways to see changes in stocks that may not be on my watch list. How can I best keep myself informed on news and updates? Thanks

Welcome to the forums. Personally I use Twitter as my news source. Search Twitter for Bloomberg, Market Watch, Yahoo Finance, The Street, Squawk on the Street and WSJ Heard on the Street and follow them. Keep Twitter open during the day and scan stories as they come in.

Tweetdeck is the best way to do this.

Twitter is my main source of information for Everything. Not just financial.
