Hi I want to understand the products a comany sells, for example Analog Devices. I know what they are selling, but I don't understand the technology. Same problem with software companies. Why is CRM/ERP software so important for companies, and why is this Msft software better than Salesforce in this field? I don't get it. Recently I discovered a really important thing you should look for in companies, scalability, and I have been trading for a year now. And what about the high valuation some companies have like Square, p/e ratio of 379 wtf? I already researched a little bit and found something: "The Essential Guide to Semiconductors". But this covers only a part of my problem, and I don't know how up to date it is (for example ray tracing technology). Can someone please help me out?
