    Any thoughts or opinions?

I feel he has gone as far as he can go. He's lost his edge, although he's still as sharp pretty much anyone else around.

I would take his careful course plotting over the abrupt moves of contemporary know-all investment managers.

Warren Buffett is the best investor the world has known, IMO. There have been several who are way, way up there but Mr. Buffett is at the top.

It has been an amazing run. It will be interesting to watch over the next few years. I think BRK will be fine, but it is still a change worth watching.

They have had this in the plans for a good bit, so it’s not totally unexpected….that helps I think.

WB annual letters were something to read. Most of the times you just felt like you were sitting in a small coffee shop chatting with him as you read through it.

The end of an era and what a legend. Just an all around good guy I think.

Yep, pretty much my thoughts, Tom and Smokie. End of an era.

BRK is down a bit this morning. No doubt, likely due to the announcement. I think it's way too early for being skittish about the leadership.
