    Chesapeake Energy Corporation is a petroleum and natural gas exploration and production company headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The company was founded in 1989 by Aubrey McClendon and Tom L. Ward with only a $50,000 initial investment. McClendon named the company due to his love of the Chesapeake Bay region. Ward later left the company to found Sand Ridge Energy.

    Chesapeake Pledges Almost Entire Company as Debt Collateral

    Chesapeake Energy Corp. pledged almost all of its natural gas fields, real estate and derivatives contracts to maintain access to a $4 billion line of credit as the shale gas producer grapples with falling energy prices. The stock was the top performer in the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index.

    6.13 highs so far, this is +34% here, I think its pretty much done for the day.

    If you had the 200MA in there as well, you'd see that it stopped right at the resistance created by the 200MA. That's the next stop if it continues to try to breakthrough.

    I have had a gap fill in order in @ 4.45 for some time as the price is getting closer. If they can disappoint on earnings and oil down at the time, I might be able to make the trade @3.45

    I am glad I passed on CHK at a 4.50, to fill the the gap. It actually filled a lower gap as well

    CHK down but not near my entry price. On the other hand another oil play WPX is up.

    I missed CHK by a few cents when it was in the low $4's. It will usually will provide a strong bounce when oil goes up. I am in no hurry to buy as the drop in oil is question.
    Probably won't hit today but I am looking to get my foot in the door around $5 to fine tune as the price nears.

    Strong support at 5.11 just broke. Need oil to dip back below 40
