I figured since I already have a market pullback/correction levels spreadsheet thread up, why not also create one for the bulls. :p

If someone could just confirm for me that my google spreadsheet table is showing up for y'alls on my first post at the top there? I'd greatly appreciate it.

BTW, I've added levels going all the way to +100% in my google sheet there.

hah, well don't look now, but the DJ30 is just a little over 3% away from entering a new bull market :p

i know, i know, i feel it is a little silly how we call a bear and bull market based on closing % moves...but it is what it is i guess.

anyway, 21856 on the DJ30 would officially be a +20% gain from the bear market low.

wow, looks like we're there on an "intraday basis", i'll have to check what the actual level is on a closing basis though.

here is the correct table that is using the "closing" values for the indices, as intraday technically doesn't count when calling bulls and bears lol :p

flirting with bull market territory on the DJ30 today. 22,310.32 is the line in the sand here. a close over that level would give us a +20% gain from the 3/23 closing low.

i mentioned this on the main weekly market discussion thread the other day, but i feel it is kind of silly to use 20% as a the bull and bear meter.

should be 30% at minimum but that may just be me. and i feel like a close over the previous closing ATH should be where the new bull market begins. but, eh. it is what it is i guess :p
