If some ETFs have high dividend yields, why doesn't everyone invest in these? I assume it has something to do with higher dividend yielding ETFs have a slower growth rate, or some other downside? I am doing some beginner research and trying to develop a strategy to invest, and I like the dividends for either income or reinvesting. Some have higher (way higher) than others, so on the surface it begs the question, wouldn't everyone just invest in the higher yielding ones? Thanks for any guidance!
