DST Systems beats 3Q profit forecasts KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ DST Systems Inc. (DST) on Thursday reported third-quarter profit of $273.3 million. On a per-share basis, the Kansas City, Missouri-based company said it had net income of $8.28. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.53 per share. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.48 per share. The information processing and software services provider posted revenue of $365.5 million in the period. DST Systems shares have fallen 1 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 1.5 percent in the last 12 months.
