I've recently invested into a few individual stocks but a friend just informed me of his love of ETFs. I've been doing some research on this specific ETF and realized some of the companies in the ETF, Ive already bought shares in. How does this work if i decide to buy some shares in the ETF, will my individual stocks merge with the ETF?
