Flir Systems misses 3Q profit forecasts WILSONVILLE, Ore. (AP) _ Flir Systems Inc. (FLIR) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $58.6 million. The Wilsonville, Oregon-based company said it had profit of 43 cents per share. The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 44 cents per share. The imaging and surveillance systems company posted revenue of $405.2 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $401.9 million. Flir Systems expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.60 to $1.65 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.6 billion to $1.65 billion. Flir Systems shares have risen almost 5 percent since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index has climbed nearly 5 percent. The stock has climbed 7 percent in the last 12 months.
