Hello all, I'm a Canadian who moved to Germany for work, since I couldn't seem to find anything in my field in Canada. I've been here almost a year and a half now. It's quite great. I'm not a stock investor, but I am looking into small investment opportunities or side businesses that can help me make the most of my time and money. Especially if it can help me pay off my student loan faster. I also just got engaged and need to start saving for wedding and honeymoon, so something that can help me earn a little extra money right now would be incredibly helpful. Looking forward to the discussions!
Welcome to the forums! I think you'll find that we're all here to turn the money we have into more money. Most of us do so in the stock market, but there are other ways as well. Make sure to ask questions and get involved as discussion is the best way to learn and promote your ideas and others!
You got a lot on your shoulder loan to be paid-engaged-getting married you need to win the lottery JK apart, welcome aboard... I agree as well what Tormentor said -posted but remember trading one can lose more then what he make.... study well... strategy-plan - psychology IMHO is the different between profit and loss
Thanks again guys for the warm welcomes. And @Ciao, lol thanks for the advice. Lottery would be great, but that's still a case of losing more money than you would ever win ;-)
you either are a miser-stingy or skint-broke money doesn't come easy ... less biers and more lottery tickets ... you never know ...Lady Luck maybe knocking at your door take care
Welcome InvestingNewbie! Hope this forum tells you what you need to know. As a bonus, you might want to read this.
Lol nope, not stingy, just realistic. I like to use my money on things that can actually make me money, and not just throw it away. Here are two nice humorous reads of some of the most random and unlikely things to happen that are still more likely than winning the lottery. It's about the math and it doesn't add up. Simply put, it's a bad investment. The odds are against us. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...likely-than-winning-the-lottery-a6798856.html http://www.forbes.com/sites/archene...kely-than-winning-the-powerball/#4a83e4d31af9
