Hello team, New poster. I'm active on plenty of web boards, but don't normally post on stock boards. Recent events have had me digging for internet resources though, and so I wound up here as one of them. Not a new investor. 20 years in. Invested 6 figure value "x". I've done some growth, but my ardent belief is compounding so my most successful platforms have been dividend-growth with a lot of compounding and occasional spin-off into new positions. Full disclosure - I do normally stick with my picks. I do normally hold for long period "x". I don't normally even remotely touch non-established companies. I don't normally speculate. Not afraid to rebalance my grid according to the zeitgeist if need be. However, recent events have placed a speculative-burst-position in my mind's eye that I'd like to sniff out over time on some of these boards. But even my spec pick has strategy, purer justification and development rationale that beats any planning behind the recent Gamestop "protest". I believe in the free markets. Believe in the Federalist system enough that I did my post-grad in Public Administration. Believe in the country. Either way, looking forward to chatting and reading more here.
