Hello everyone! I've been lurking here for about 6 months or so, registered in August (I think). I feel like I creepily know you all already. Awesome forum and knowledge here. Still very much a newbie. First stock I bought into was AMD a little over a year ago. Needless to say, it's been a great performer Since then, I've gone through a few books, numerous videos, and some hard lessons. This forum has been super helpful, I usually don't bother closing the tab out I'm long for all of these currently: AAPL AMAT AMD BAC BCS CX FB MBT REGI SQ T WMT XLF On the side I also trade BTC and ETH. Guess that's it for now!
Belated welcome to you penny_wise. Not a bad list of holdings there. I see some financials in there that should do well over the next week or two. I've always liked WMT but have not re-entered it after taking some profits earlier this year. I also have a pretty good position in T and really like that one. If you are around during market hours be sure to join in on the live chat, or lurk there for awhile

Thanks all. I'll try and be a bit more involved where I can (and not look too bad at it hopefully). I'm never up at opening though, too early (CA here). Need my beauty rest haha. Happy Trading!
Don't worry about it, you can post whenever you want! I'm not up at open except on Fridays because I work nights some days and days some days. We've all "looked bad" at times, so don't worry about it. If you post something you're not sure about and someone answers it, eventually someone else will learn from some of your questions/comments as well. Plus it gets more people active which makes newcomers stick around because they see a more active forum!

Thanks Cy. I came here via google search for 'stock forums'. Checked out a couple other forums and ended up here! I have a few '-aholics' of my own, so it seemed fitting.
