JB Hunt beats 1Q profit forecasts JB Hunt Transport Services Inc. (JBHT) on Monday reported first-quarter earnings of $100.1 million. The Lowell, Arkansas-based company said it had profit of 88 cents per share. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 14 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 85 cents per share. The trucking and logistics company posted revenue of $1.53 billion in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.55 billion. JB Hunt shares have climbed 16 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen slightly more than 6 percent in the last 12 months.
